Android Users:
Your new WOO App for Android is almost ready! The app has been completely rebuilt, specifically for Kite, both to speed up performance and also so that we can build new features into it in the future. The release on Monday also includes a bonus Wear OS App for viewing your jumps, speed, and distance while on the water. We hope you enjoy it.
Two big things you need to be aware of as the app goes live on Monday:
⚠️ Unsaved sessions will be cleared from your My WOO page on update.
Please save any sessions ahead of updating the app.
⚠️ The new App only includes a Kite section
The Wake and Snow sections have been removed.
If you’d like to stay on the current version and disable the auto update, you can do so by going into the Play Store App, click the top left menu into My apps & games, Installed, WOO Sports, click the three dots top right and then disable Auto Updates. If you plan to ride on Monday, you may want to have updates disabled in case the app updates in the background while using it.
